Peck It Up

Become a friendly woodpecker and see how high you can climb up a tree in the arcade game Peck It Up. The challenge? Your bird can't fly, so he has to climb the tree by jumping as high as he can and then hitting the tree's trunk with his beak.

Peck It Up has a very simple control system: swipe your finger down the screen -as if you were using a slingshot- to shoot the woodpecker up the tree, and tap the screen to make him hit the trunk. But aim carefully, if you don't hit a solid surface, you'll fall back down the tree.

Keep an eye out for power ups scattered around the tree trunk while making your ascent. Collect a target, and your woodpecker will be able to hit the tree more powerfully for a few seconds, while collecting apples allows you to fly a few feet.

Peck It Up is a simple -but fun and addictive- arcade game with some great graphics. Its only fault is it doesn't have much variety, either of birds or levels to play in. Despite that, it's an excellent game.
